YFood Tech Wednesdays - In-person

A special edition of YFood Tech Wednesdays hosted in collaboration with House of St Barnabas. Not only are we welcoming our Food Tech startup and futurpreneur community, but we’re also bringing leaders in hospitality down to join the fun.

We’ll be joined by Jamie Crummie, Co-Founder, Too Good To Go, who we are super excited to welcome back to YFood events. We can’t quite get over just how much they have grown, since we introduced them to the community all the way back in 2016. Jamie has since been named Trailblazing Activist in the 50 Next class of 2021, One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year in August 2020 and one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe in February 2019. Too Good To Go is the world’s largest marketplace for surplus food. The app lets consumers buy unsold food from restaurants and retailers so that it doesn’t go to waste. Their mission is simple: to make sure all food gets eaten, not wasted. Their story is quite unbelievable.

YFood Tech Wednesdays is a unique event designed to bring like-minded people within the Food Tech ecosystem in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Created to facilitate learning from founders who have gone further ahead, as well as to support discussion, community building, inspiration, and support for startups and those interested in setting up and in this case also partnering with a Food Tech business. Jamie will give us a short talk followed by high energy, real and collaborative Q&A followed by lots of networking and engaging with the community.
