Five Seasons Ventures

Five Seasons Ventures is the first European impact venture fund focused on Food Tech;  backing consumer food brands to become category leaders and sustainability champions, and helping iconic brands navigate to the top of their category, fast. Founded in 2018, they have 17 companies under management and one successful exit. Their team brings 40+ years of cumulative VC experience, 15+ years of food and ag investing, and 30+ years of operational experience in the industry. They are backed by strategic and financial investors who provide access to business and financing opportunities. They are long term investors that leverage their deep industry knowledge and network and they aim to create lasting value for their portfolio companies therefore increasing likelihood to exit. 

Five Seasons Ventures are looking for future category leaders with high growth potential, largely proven technology, and early commercial traction (Series A or B). They are also willing to consider earlier stage companies with outstanding potential (Seed), as long as there is some initial commercial traction. Their starting cheque size ranges from €2-10m in exchange for a significant minority and board seat; ideally as part of a syndicate with other value-add investors, with the ability to invest up to €20m per company.
