COCA COLA EURO-PACIFIC PARTNERS CCEP Ventures is the innovation engine of Coca Cola Europacific Partners. They search for the best new startups in the industry to invest, collaborate and partner with to help create the future of the beverages industry. CCEP Ventures is on the look out for startups and/or partners that can help them in two key areas; Packaging & Sustainability and Enhanced Customer Value. Their sustainability focus is clear: remove, reduce, reuse, recycle. They need to find innovative ways of doing more with less. That includes accelerating innovation to deliver drinks in new ways, like reusable packaging and smart dispensers. And it needs to happen across every part of the packaging journey. From the design of the packaging itself, to the way in which it’s made, used and treated after use. They are removing materials where they can and making sure all the packaging they do use is collected, recycled and reused in a low carbon circular system. They are redesigning and reimagining every aspect of how they deliver drinks, to be as resource efficient as possible. And ensure nothing is wasted. Less new materials. Less greenhouse gases. And less waste. Their Customer Value search centres around how to help their customers sell more, in a more engaging way, more efficiently. This can range from technology that allows them to track the journey of a product from source to shelf, to new experiential ways to engage with customers in store.

FIVE SEASONS VENTURES

Five Seasons Ventures is the first European impact venture fund focused on Food Tech;  backing consumer food brands to become category leaders and sustainability champions, and helping iconic brands navigate to the top of their category, fast. Founded in 2018, they have 17 companies under management and one successful exit. Their team brings 40+ years of cumulative VC experience, 15+ years of food and ag investing, and 30+ years of operational experience in the industry. They are backed by strategic and financial investors who provide access to business and financing opportunities. They are long term investors that leverage their deep industry knowledge and network and they aim to create lasting value for their portfolio companies therefore increasing likelihood to exit. Five Seasons Ventures are looking for future category leaders with high growth potential, largely proven technology, and early commercial traction (Series A or B). They are also willing to consider earlier stage companies with outstanding potential (Seed), as long as there is some initial commercial traction. Their starting cheque size ranges from €2-10m in exchange for a significant minority and board seat; ideally as part of a syndicate with other value-add investors, with the ability to invest up to €20m per company.
