In this edition of YFood Tech Wednesdays, we’ll be joined online by Alejandro Franco, Co-Founder & CCO, Kaffe Bueno. He will be sharing his story of how he and his Co-Founders unlocked the potential of coffee and made it useful in personal care products, nutraceuticals and functional foods.

Kaffe Bueno is an award-winning Danish bioscience company upcycling coffee by-product into ingredients for cosmetics, nutraceuticals, and functional foods and drinks. They are unlocking coffee’s health potential whilst minimising harmful emissions and maximising coffee’s usability. Kaffe Bueno is dedicated to changing how the world sees coffee: making it more than just everyone’s favourite breakfast drink, making it a sustainable health elixir.

Alejandro is the bridge between the market and R&D, making sure the company’s innovation addresses specific market needs and customer pains. He is in charge of business development, overall commercial strategy, strategic partnership development and circular projects
